Curriculum Overview

Our 3D printing curriculum is teacher-designed for K-12 schools. It empowers teachers to focus on coaching and supporting students, while the curriculum guides individualized learning. Our curriculum creators provide support for teachers throughout the process.

1. Foundations of 3D Design

Our self-paced video lessons enable students to learn the fundamentals of 3D Design in Tinkercad at their own pace, thereby freeing up the teacher's time to focus on supporting their students.

2. Preparing Design for 3D Printing

Our detailed video lessons provide students with an understanding of the basics of slicing software, which enables them to prepare their 3D designs for 3D printing. This allows teachers to focus on coaching students individually and assisting them in problem-solving.

3. Hands-On Project Extensions

Once students have mastered the foundational concepts, our curriculum offers various projects, worksheets and structures for them to apply their learning and bring their skills to the next level.

Our project extensions are carefully crafted to help students practice and master their 3D design skills while learning the design process. Each project comes with an introductory video that provides a comprehensive explanation of the project, design process, and CAD tips to guide students. Additionally, we offer planning and reflection worksheets that support both students and teachers throughout the process.
